Term 2 Winter Season

The school holidays are upon us after an extremely successful Term 2. We have provided record numbers of coaches and umpires and have been receiving very positive feedback from our schools.

We hope that our staff enjoy a great holiday break and we look forward to offering more opportunities in Term 3!

Physical Education CRT – Now Hiring

After numerous requests from our client schools, the Melbourne Sports Institute are now providing Physical Education CRT opportunities. We will be able to offer a wide range of locations, attractive payment rates and short or long term assignments.

If you have a current VIT certification we would love to hear from you!

Please send in your CV and cover letter to employment@msisport.com.au and we will contact you with more details.

Sporting Kids Partnership

As of Term 3, 2015 the Melbourne Sports Institute will partner with Sporting Kids in providing sports programs and activities to primary aged students.

Sporting Kids currently provides sports programs and activities to over 350 schools in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.

These programs are participation based and encourage primary aged children to be active and develop positive attitudes toward sport.

We welcome this new initiative as it will allow us to offer more coaching opportunities to you each Term.

We will be conducting a free training session to all interested coaches to assist with the transition from the high school programs to these primary school programs.

New Session Attendance Policy

Due to an increased number of coaching and officiating staff pulling out of their scheduled sessions under extremely late notice, we are now implementing a new policy with regards to cancellation of scheduled fixtures on the day.

If you withdraw from a scheduled fixture on the morning of your session without a medical certificate, you will be charged the set pay rate amount of that fixture. When you take on a coaching or umpiring allocation you are making a commitment to the students, the school and to Melbourne Sports Institute. It is of the utmost importance that the students are not left without a coach or umpire and are unable to participate.
